Loopy Llama 091b

It's a looper... Made to emulate the Jam Man or DL-4 - but also generate a click track so it could be used with a drummer live. It is designed to work with Ableton Live or any other VST host such as Plogue Bidule for live performance. Copy the files to your vstplugins folder or a subdirectory of it...make sure the llamabeat.wav file is there also.

VstStudioMix Plugin

It's still a early version but fully functional. It's heavily based on the studiomixmap program of Wayne Legro. But more flexible because each controller (slider, rotary and button) can be configured to operate on it's own midi channel. The buttons and can send CC or Note On-Off messages. They can also be toggled on or off (white CC or N = toggle on; black CC or N = toggle off). The rotaries and the sliders can only send midi CC messages. The Outer and Inner Jogs are linked on

Kong Audio MiniDizi

Mini DiZi is the free version of Kong Audio's ChineeWinds Chinese Flute VSTi. Mini DiZi covers Tenor DiZi, Xiao, and some different expression styles to give you a taste of the various Dizi sounds.
Be sure to check out the DiZi tutorial MIDI files (which are designed for ChineeWinds, but also work for Mini DiZi) to get an idea of how a dizi is supposed to be played, just in case you are not familiar with it.
